It would seem that loyalty is not a very prominent virtue in small children.  Or maybe it’s just that memory isn’t a very strong faculty.  Either way, I’ve realized how much I love my kids, and it is with a deep sense of dread and sadness that I realize they will forget me soon after I leave for school.  Unfortunately the ones I work with most are the three one year olds and a two year old, which, being the youngest, are most likely to recognize me as a perfect stranger when I come back to visit.

Why is it that the best conversations must come on the nights when I am absolutely exhausted?  No matter…last night was good.

1 Peter 3:15-16

15But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect, 16keeping a clear conscience, so that those who speak maliciously against your good behavior in Christ may be ashamed of their slander.
